Through funding with the American Legacy Foundation, at Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies in Washington, DC, over 80 schools of nursing have sent faculty members to participate in the train-the-trainer two-day workshop since 2003.
The Summer Institute for Tobacco Control Practices Nursing Fellows Leadership Program
Through funding with the American Legacy Foundation (2004-2005)and the UCSF Smoking Cessation Leadership Center (2005-2006), 25 fellows have provided leadership to improve nursing curricula activities and/or improve clinical outcomes for patients presenting in the acute and/or critical care setting.
